Your Responsibilties
Lead, mentor, and develop the Business Development and Key Account Management team, including target setting, performance management, coaching, and professional development.
Manage and support the Business Development Managers in identifying, qualifying, and maturing strategic hydrogen opportunities from early-stage engagement through handover to Sales.
Define and execute the companys business development and key account strategy for hydrogen markets and emerging applications.
Build and maintain executive-level relationships with Oil & Gas majors, industrial customers, EPCs, developers, utilities, investors, regulators, and strategic partners across the hydrogen ecosystem.
Act as senior commercial interface for strategic and global key accounts, ensuring long-term customer engagement and partnership development.
Represent the company at conferences, trade fairs, industry forums, and public events, including participation as guest speaker, panelist, or company representative.
Ensure strong collaboration between Business Development, Key Account Management, Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Project Execution, Strategy, and Finance.
Monitor hydrogen market developments, policy changes, competitor activities, technology trends, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and strategic risks.
Support strategic negotiations, partnership discussions, memorandums of understanding (MoUs), and framework agreements with strategic customers and partners.
Provide regular reporting to senior management regarding pipeline development, key account activities, market trends, strategic opportunities, and team performance.
What You Bring
Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Energy Management, or related field.
Several years of experience in business development, strategic sales, key account management, or commercial leadership within the hydrogen, Oil & Gas, energy, industrial gas, renewable energy, or infrastructure sectors.
Proven leadership experience managing Business Development and/or Key Account teams.
Strong network and experience working with Oil & Gas majors and large industrial customers.
Strong understanding of the hydrogen market, energy transition landscape, electrolyzer technologies, and industrial decarbonization trends.
Demonstrated ability to build strategic partnerships and manage complex stakeholder environments.
Experience working with EPCs, developers, utilities, industrial customers, and public sector stakeholders.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, including executive-level engagement.
Entrepreneurial mindset with strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking capabilities.
