The Welcome Service of Standortmanagement Golm GmbH, the site management office of Potsdam Science Park, supports this international community by offering year-round German and English language courses tailored to researchers, employees, and entrepreneurs working within the parks institutions and companies.

English Teacher (m/f/d)

Standortmanagement Golm GmbH is searching for qualified English teachers to join our language school at the Potsdam Science Park in the district of Golm. We offer English and German language classes to adults from levels A1 to C2 in individual or small group settings. Subjects include general English, business English and scientific English. Course times are flexible and offered year-round. All course materials are provided by the language school.

Job Summary

Provide quality instruction to adult learners, integrating meaningful classroom activities and valuable experience that facilitate students learning goals and workforce/workplace skills.

Job Requirements

- English language skills at a native or near-native bilingual proficiency

- CELTA or DELTA certification or bachelors or masters degree in English (TEFL)

- At least one year of teaching experience, teaching adults preferred

- Experience in online and in-person teaching

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Able to work independently and as part of a team

- Computer proficiency (i.e. Microsoft Office, ESL websites)

- Some knowledge of the German language (level A2 and above) a plus
