Research& Development Engineer (m/f/d)

As an owner-managed medium-sized company with flat hierarchies, we offer our customers in Germany and abroad a wide range of services related to the cleaning of pipelines, cooling circuits and apparatus. The basis for this is our patented COMPREX® process, which we have continuously developed and improved over time. The application of our environmentally friendly technology is carried out in industrial, chemical, pharmaceutical plants, injection molding parts manufacturers, municipal drinking water networks and drinking water installations of large building complexes.

In R&D, the focus is on the continuous improvement of our equipment and systems, new development and the construction of prototypes that will enable the use of the COMPREX® process in other areas.

Here you are needed

Working closely with the current job holder, you will perform the following duties:

Responsibility for the planning and implementation of development projects in the area of product and process design

Development of product ideas according to specifications

prototype construction

Responsible for on-time development to agreed product target costs and budgets.

Preparation, control and release of the required development, procurement and production documents

Accompaniment of the projects up to the production release on schedule.

Who we are looking for

What makes you

You have a very good university degree with a technical focus or equivalent practical work in the technical field.

Very good theoretical and practical knowledge in mechanics and experience in handling electro-pneumatic components

profound knowledge and user experience in CAD, electrics and electronics

Hands-on mentality

an independent, structured approach to work, strong planning, organizational and communication skills, and a confident and friendly demeanor

a high level of resilience, flexibility and a high degree of teamwork, initiative and commitment

Experience in managing smaller projects and working with suppliers and service providers for machine and component development

very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
