We welcome applications from candidates with a range of backgrounds and experience levels. As an RWE Hydrographic Surveyor you will ideally bring the following skills and experiences:
MSc in (or equivalent degree or suitable experience in) hydrographic survey, or in a relevant geospatial discipline
Experience of or practical exposure to shallow water hydrographic surveys
Experience working with large and varied hydrographic datasets (e.g. gridded and ungridded MBES, CARIS projects, and surface and subsea navigation data), including quality control and review
Experience reviewing technical reports and managing large technical datasets
Familiarity with current and emerging hydrographic and nearshore survey techniques, and industry specialist software (e.g. ArcGIS, CARIS, Qinsy/Qimera, EIVA etc.)
Commitment to and good knowledge of current UK health, safety and environmental legislation, sound operational understanding of industry technical codes and UK regulatory requirements for offshore wind surveys
Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams with clear communication skills
Benefits
The opportunity to contribute to the global energy transition and large‑scale offshore wind developments
A collaborative, diverse and inclusive working environment within a global organisation
Opportunities for learning, development, and career progression
Exposure to a wide range of projects across the full lifecycle of offshore wind farms
