RWE is building Denmarks largest offshore wind farm. Thor offshore wind farm (TOWF) will be built 22 kilometres off the coast of Thorsminde with a capacity of more than 1 GW. 72 units of Siemens Gamesas flagship SG 14-236 DD offshore wind turbines are planned to be installed. Once fully operational in 2027, Thor will produce green electricity to more than 1 million Danish households.

You will be one of two Operation Controllers (Koblingsleder) for the offshore teams, with main responsibility for safe electrical operation from the local control room in Thorsminde. You will work closely with the maintenance coordinator, engineering team, grid owner and technicians on site. As part of daily operation, you will ensure correct planning, SCADA monitoring, HV switching and electrical worksite preparation in accordance with BEK 1608 and the applicable electrical safety rules.

During the construction phase of the wind farm, the Operation Controller will support commissioning, operational readiness and the build-up of the future electrical safety organisation. Shift rotation is planned for 1 week on/off with accommodation facilities provided, if required. On-call duty will be expected to some extent within the rotation.
