What youll do

At Enpal, we are expanding our AC hardware and energy system portfolio, including inverter-adjacent components, PV systems, and storage integration. We are looking for a Hardware Engineer (f/m/x) who takes end-to-end ownership of AC hardware systems – from concept and design through validation to real-world performance.

This is a system-level engineering role with strong technical depth and cross-functional responsibility.

Develop and optimize AC hardware and system designs in the area of inverters and energy systems

Take ownership of hardware components from concept phase through series production readiness

Define and evaluate test and validation strategies to ensure performance and reliability

Work closely with external development partners and suppliers

Align regularly with Product, Quality, and Operations teams on technical implementation

Contribute to system-level decisions impacting cost, reliability, and scalability

What youll bring

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or similar field

Extensive experience in AC hardware, inverter systems, or power electronics

Strong understanding of system-level engineering and technical requirements

Experience working with European/German standards for electrical systems

Comfortable working in cross-functional and supplier-driven environments

Fluent in English; German is a strong plus
