We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to join our team at Energie Zentrum Deutschland. You will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

Ensure compliance with tax regulations and other financial requirements

Monitor budgets and analyze variances to provide financial insights to management

Support the preparation of audits and liaise with external auditors

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accordance with company policies.

Qualifications

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Proven experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a medium to large-sized company

Proficiency in financial software (e.g., DATEV or SAP)

Strong understanding of German accounting standards (HGB) and tax regulations

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
